Britt specializes in civil litigation and focuses his active law practice on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, employment law, workers compensation, wills and estates. Britt is admitted to practice law in all federal and state courts in Mississippi and Arkansas and has tried dozens of jury trials in both jurisdictions. He routinely tries claims before the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission and is also admitted in the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
When he is not practicing law Britt spends time on multiple philanthropic, civic and community organizations. He is a founding member of the Delta Sportsplex Foundation, Inc., School Advisory Council for St. Joseph Catholic School and previously served as Chairman of the Capital Campaign for St. Joseph School. He previously served on the Board of Directors to the Community Foundation of Washington County and President of the United Way (2004), Kiwanis Club ( 2000), American Heart Association Heart Walk (2003) and Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce (2006-2007). Britt is an Eagle Scout and serves as the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 4071 in Greenville. He has led ten Scouts to become Eagle Scouts.
